FundMesa is a grant-management tool you can use to track funders, deadlines, expenses, and reports for your nonprofit. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
You're responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else got access. We can suspend or close accounts that abuse the service (spam, impersonation, illegal use).
You own the grants, funders, attachments, notes, and other records you put into FundMesa. We need a limited license to store, process, and display that data so the product works — that's the whole purpose. We don't sell it, we don't use it to train AI models, and we don't share it outside the sub-processors listed at /sub-processors.
FundMesa is not designed to hold protected health information (PHI), payment card data, or other regulated categories. Don't upload that kind of content unless you have a signed Business Associate Agreement or similar arrangement with us — we currently don't offer one.
We aim to keep FundMesa available and working well, but we don't promise zero downtime or zero bugs. We do our best to back up your data and we'll tell you if something material goes wrong.
Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically. When you subscribe you choose monthly or annual billing; the price, renewal cadence, trial length, and first-charge date are shown next to the checkout button and confirmed to you by email. Each paid plan begins with a 30-day free trial with a payment method on file. At the end of the trial we charge the price for the interval you chose, and then again at the start of each renewal period, until you cancel. For annual plans we email you a reminder before each renewal. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price increase takes effect. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or as specifically stated in an order form.
You can cancel at any time, online, from Settings → Subscription (organization owners) using Cancel subscription or Manage billing, or by emailing support@fundmesa.com. Cancellation stops all future charges; your plan remains active through the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting your organization (Settings → Danger Zone) also cancels its subscription immediately, without a refund of the remaining period.
After cancellation your data stays accessible read-only and can be exported at any time; we permanently delete it 30 days after cancellation. Soft-deleted records inside a live account stay restorable for 30 days, then purge.
FundMesa is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is capped at the fees you paid in the prior twelve months. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
We may update these terms; if we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, give you notice in-app or by email before they take effect. We give at least 30 days' email notice before adding a sub-processor that handles your organization's content (the current list is at /sub-processors).
